The "12th Five Year Plan for the Development of Machinery Industry" recently released by the China Machinery Industry Federation proposes that during the 12th Five Year Plan period, China's machinery industry will focus on five key areas, including high-end equipment products and emerging industry equipment.

The plan proposes that during the 12th Five Year Plan period, China's machinery industry will focus on high-end strategy, innovation driven strategy, strengthening basic strategy, integration of industrialization and informatization strategy, and "green first" strategy.

The plan points out that high-end equipment products include advanced and efficient power equipment, large petrochemical equipment, large metallurgical and mining equipment, modern agricultural equipment, high-efficiency and low emission internal combustion engines, digital and intelligent instruments and automatic control systems, etc; Emerging industry equipment includes new energy vehicles, new energy power generation equipment (nuclear power, wind power, and other efficient and clean power generation equipment), smart grid equipment, high-end CNC machine tools and precision machining equipment, intelligent printing equipment, marine engineering equipment, industrial robots and specialized robots, large-scale intelligent engineering construction machinery, energy-saving and environmental protection equipment, etc.

The plan states that in the next five years, the machinery industry will focus on the research, development, and application of machinery and equipment for people's livelihoods, key basic products, basic processes, and technologies.

The plan proposes that during the 12th Five Year Plan period, China's machinery industry will "grow from large to strong" and strive to achieve the following goals by the end of the 12th Five Year Plan: maintaining stable and healthy development; There has been a breakthrough in upgrading the industry towards the high-end; Significant enhancement of independent innovation capability; Preliminary consolidation of industrial foundation; The level of integration between the two industries has significantly improved; Promote green manufacturing.
